The 2025 EUA Conference on Artificial Intelligence, titled "How Universities Are Shaping the Era of Artificial Intelligence", is scheduled to take place online on 22–23 May 2025. Organised by the European University Association (EUA), this event will delve into how higher education institutions are integrating AI across teaching, research, and institutional management.
The conference will feature presentations of selected AI adoption practices within universities, framed by expert insights into the political and regulatory landscape. Panel discussions will address ethical considerations surrounding the integration of new technologies. Plenary and parallel sessions will explore the critical importance of training and the role of leadership, educators, and learners in determining where AI brings benefits and where it does not.
