Google Cloud and Montreal-based KonnectAi have partnered to introduce AI-powered quality inspection solutions for manufacturers at the Hannover Messe event in Hanover, Germany, from April 22-26.
KonnectAi specializes in visual inspection systems that utilize image recognition algorithms. Manufacturers can deploy these systems to automate quality inspections. The platform allows manufacturers to scan a product’s serial number to trace it and displays images taken during the inspection.

Speed: The system can perform a customer sample inspection in just five seconds, according to KonnectAi.
KonnectAi will leverage Google Cloud’s development platform to enhance its quality inspection tools for manufacturers. Additionally, KonnectAi will utilize Google Cloud’s data analytics solutions, such as BigQuery, to help customers gain insights on product checks.
