Microsoft Copilot, previously known as Bing Chat, has unveiled a new plugin that empowers users to create songs within seconds. The innovative feature integrates Suno, an AI-driven music creation tool capable of composing songs based on a given text prompt.
This functionality, accessible as a plug-in for Copilot, allows users to effortlessly generate songs encompassing lyrics, instrumentals, and even a singing voice from a single sentence. Typically, these AI-generated songs span one to two minutes, accompanied by a transcript of the lyrics, providing a comprehensive musical experience.
It is important to note that despite users' creative input, Suno retains ownership of the AI-generated songs. Monetization on popular music platforms such as Spotify and YouTube is prohibited; however, users can freely share these compositions on social media and utilize them for non-commercial purposes.
To utilize this feature, users can follow these simple steps:
Open an internet browser and visit the Microsoft Copilot website.Sign in using your Microsoft account and activate the Suno plugin from the plug-in panel or by clicking the "Make music with Suno" button. In the text field at the bottom of the window, describe the desired song, and press enter.Microsoft Copilot will then generate a fully formed song complete with lyrics. However, users are unable to download the AI-generated music, as Suno maintains the rights to these compositions.
In a recent development, Microsoft also introduced Copilot Notebook, a feature allowing users to input prompts on the left and receive corresponding results on the right. This enhancement further enhances the versatility of the Copilot platform, catering to a range of user needs.
